Dr Craig Spencer, the American who
treated Ebola patients in Guinea, West Africa has been rushed to the hospital
in New York with symptoms of the virus.
The doctor, who returned to the
U.S. 10 days ago from Guinea, was admitted to Bellevue Hospital on Thursday,
but was taken to the hospital from his home in Harlem after developing an 103F
fever and nausea.
Dr Spencer was believed to have been treating
patients in Guinea, but is now being tested for the Ebola virus as well as
malaria, salmonella and stomach flu, with results expected in 12 hours.
The medic is believed to work at
Columbia University Medical Centre and originally come from Detroit, Michigan,
reports the Daily
