Boko Haram Muslims Marking Religious Festival In Yobe State

Suspected members of Boko Haram have bombed a major Shiite ceremony in Yobe State, North-East Nigeria, witnesses have said.

                 

The blast targeted a procession of worshippers in the Tsohuwar Kasuwa area of Potiskum city, said witness Ibrahim Maina.

A police officer at the scene who requested anonymity said “it was a huge crowd and many of them were affected.”
