Captain
of the Ghanaian national team, Asamoah Gyan has released a statement denying he
had a hand in the death of rapper Castro.
The
28 year old Ghanaian international was accused of killing the rapper whose real
name is Theophilus Tagoe. Castro, who was a friend of the Gyan, went missing along with
his girlfriend Janet Bandu sometime in July.
The rapper and his partner disappeared while using jet skis
on holiday with Gyan's family in Ada.
Speculations were rife that Castro was killed as part of a
ritual sacrifice, an allegation which Gyan denies any knowledge of or
involvement in.
The 28-year-old and his family released a statement
addressing the 'wild allegations and rumours'.
