The controversy trailing the $9.3m seized by the South
African Government has taken a new turn as members of the All Progressive
Congress in the House of Representatives staged a walkout on the House Tuesday
following a stalled debate.
Recall that a private jet with three people from Nigeria,
including an Israeli, conveyed the said money, which was said to be meant for
the procurement of arms and ammunition to South Africa.
Attempt by House members to deliberate on the motion on Today
(Tuesday) failed after a voice vote called by the presiding Deputy Speaker, Mr.
Emeka Ihedioha, went in favour of the majority, who opposed the debate.
