A man was electrocuted while allegedly
trying to steal diesel on Monday morning.
The suspect, Mr. John Aboy, and
two others had attempted to gain access into the building in order to steal
diesel around 3am before he was electrocuted.
After seeing what happened to
their partner, the other two took to their heels and left and abandoned him to
his faith. Aboy was later found hanging dead on the electric fence in the
morning by passersby and residents of the area.
Police on patrol were said to have
arrived the scene and took the hanging corpse away. The Plateau State Police
Public Relations Officer, DSP Abuh Emmanuel, advised people with criminal
tendencies to look for reasonable ways of making a living, saying crime does
not pay and this is what ends it.
