Officials in Mali have shut down a hospital in Bamako where
a second patient who died of the deadly Ebola Virus Disease was reported.
Mali’s Information Minister, Mahamadou Camara said in a
statement on Twitter that “prevention measures” were being taken, but gave no
details on the case. Local officials and diplomats said the new case was unrelated
to the first one recorded in October.
