Journalists are humans no doubt; but the dictate of their
profession should most times forbid them from taking sides. The case of Adrian
Durham is one example of how not to use your position as a journalist to malign
a team so much adored by millions of supporters all over the world.
His latest attack on one of Britain’s greatest football
teams; ‘the invincibles’ cast a shadow over his ability to provide or disseminate
information to the public without bias.
Being unique is one of the qualities of a great man; but when
a man chooses to hold a separate view on certain issues just for selfish and
personal reasons; then he is unfit to be regarded as one.
While the likes of Durham are entitled to their views, it is
important to remind them that the truth, which in this case is that ‘the
invincibles’ are by far the greatest English football team, at least for now,
remains constant.
This article is in response to one written by Adrian in the Daily
Mail.
