Son of former military ruler of Nigeria, Mohammed Babangida
is said to be interested in joining the race to become the next governor of
Niger State.
A ‘competent’ source who spoke to the Punch
revealed that “He (Mohammed) planned to purchase the nomination form for the
race secretly.”
The source, who craved anonymity, also told the paper that
the former military leader’s decision to join the race might have altered
the political equation of the state “since Mohammed Babangida and governor
Babangida Aliyu are form the same zone in the state.”
