Senate President, Senator David Mark has been told to tender
an apology to the people of Edo State for wearing Benin traditional coral Beads
on English attire.
According to the Chairman of the Conference of Registered
Political Parties, CRPP Edo State chapter; Senator Mark should tender an
unreserved apology to the people of the state for what he termed “denigrating
the Benin customs.”
Recall that Senator Mark wore traditional Edo beads on
English attire during the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) unity rally held in
Benin last weekend, Edo State, South-South, Nigeria.
