Ebola-Spanish Nurse To Be Discharged From Quarantine Today

It’s good news for friends and family of 44 year old Teresa Romero, the Spanish nurse who was quarantined for contracting the deadly Ebola virus as authorities said she will be released from hospital today.

She tested negative on the 19th of October, but was not immediately released so the authorities could carry out further tests on her.

Romero was treated with a drip of human serum, which contains antibodies from Ebola sufferers who had survived the disease, and other drugs which a government spokesman declined to name.
