For the All Progressives Congress APC, the blame game has no
end. It is obvious to the entire world that Nigerians voted out the last
administration because they were fed up with the way the nation was being
governed. Nigerians wanted change in virtually every area of the life; and
change was what they got.
The ruling party has continued to beat a dead horse since
the President was sworn in on May 29 2015. President Muhammadu Buhari has spent
1/3rd of the last seven or eight months hitting hard at the last
government; blaming it for every problem the nation found itself. While we all
agree that the last administration caused us a lot of heartaches, wouldn’t it
be nice to just move ahead and spear the nation the horror of being reminded
what already know about?
Every sneeze that leads to a cold in this present
administration is now being blamed on the ex President and his men. President
Goodluck Jonathan may not have steered the ship of this nation in the right
direction, but that doesn’t make him responsible for the current fuel crisis
hitting the nation hard. If Buhari and his men continue to blame the past
administration for our current predicament, which we already know; then we will
have no choice but to believe that he knows no Jack about how to fix the
nation.
The President’s men should stop telling us what we already
know and focus on the ones we don’t know. Nigerians are not asking for much;
give us fuel, give us power to power our factories, give us water, good roads,
and jobs for our unemployed. We deserve the best and that is why we elected you
as our President. We are tired of complaints and the regular blame game—let’s
move Nigeria forward!
