A group of youths in Kaduna State, under the aegis of the
Kaduna Patriotic Youths for Development yesterday, Sunday condemned Mallam
Nasir el-Rufai, for accusing the President of the Christian Association of
Nigeria, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, over his alleged involvement in the $9.3m,
smuggled into Johannesburg, South Africa.
The youths strongly condemned the former FCT minister over a
comment, which they claimed dented the image of the cleric.
In a statement made available to newsmen yesterday in Kaduna,
the leader of the group, Mr. Danladi
Husseini-Abubakar, and the General Secretary, Ishaku Irimiya, respectively,
said the attack on the CAN leader was an attack on all Christians as well as
the Church of God, which must not be taken lightly.
