A coroner on
Wednesday has threatened Prophet TB Joshua with arrest if he failed to testify
at an inquest into the deaths of 116 people in a building within his Church
premises.
A Oyetade Komolafe
rejected arguments from Joshua’s lawyers that the televangelist should not be
summoned because he did not directly witness the September 12 tragedy.
About 118 people died when a guest house under construction
within the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) collapsed. Among the dead
were 84 South Africans, and nationals
of other nations.
