The cat and mouse war brewing between Nigeria’s two largest
political parties, APC and PDP is showing no sign of let off as one of the
parties has hit the other with another jibe.
Following adoption last week of President Goodluck Jonathan
as the sole candidate to bear his party’s flag in next year’s general election
in Nigeria, the All Progressive Congress, APC has criticized the decision;
describing it as a ‘mockery of democracy.’
Reacting to PDP’s adoption of Jonathan, APC’s National
Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed said the endorsement exposes the
shameless hypocrisy going on within the PDP.
