Forbes
has released the 2014 lists of highest earners among celebrities who have
passed on with Michael Jackson topping the lists as number one.
The late pop start earned a staggering $140 million in the
last one year, making him the number one earner by a distance.
Forbes’ list was
based on information gathered from “estate managers, agents, music publishers
and other in-the-know folks to come up with estimates of what each estate
brought in between October 2013 and October 2014;” without deducting “taxes or
things like management fees.”
