Biafra-Nnamdi Kanu Back In Court As Federal Government Slam Fresh Charges Against Him

According to the PREMIUM TIMES, the Federal Government has slammed fresh charges against Nnamdi Kanu the leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra, shortly after he was released unconditionally by a Federal High Court on December 17.

Mr. Kanu’s counsel, Vincent Obeta, told the online publication that the Federal Government filed the fresh charges on December 18 at the same court that granted him bail.

According to German magazine, BUNTE per the Daily Mail, FI racing legend Michael Schumacher is now able to take 'tentative' steps with the aid of a carer and has regained slight movement in one arm.

The headline in the glossy magazine “He can move again,” was published some days before the second anniversary the ski accident in the French Alps, which almost claimed the life of the superstar.

However, the magazine’s claim has been swiftly denied by Schumacher’s long-term manager Sabine Kehm who said the claim was unfortunate...

“Such speculation is irresponsible, because given the seriousness of his injuries, his privacy is very important for Michael. 

“Unfortunately they also give false hopes to many involved people.

Breaking News-Bomb Blast Rocks Federal Government College Kontagora

Another bomb blast has rocked a Federal Government College, this time in Kontagora in Niger State, Northern Nigeria, reports Premium Times.

The Niger State police spokesperson, Ibrahim Gambari, said an unidentified female suicide bomber struck at the school on Wednesday, killing herself and injuring three others.

Police bomb units have deployed to the scene, he said.

An eye witness revealed that at least one person was killed; but this cannot be confirmed as at the time of filing this report.

President Jonathan Unveils 100 Naira Commemorative Notes

President Goodluck Jonathan on Wednesday unveiled 100 Naira commemorative notes to mark Nigeria’s 100 years of amalgamation. Ebola-Mali Records Second Death

Officials in Mali have shut down a hospital in Bamako where a second patient who died of the deadly Ebola Virus Disease was reported.

Mali’s Information Minister, Mahamadou Camara said in a statement on Twitter that “prevention measures” were being taken, but gave no details on the case. Local officials and diplomats said the new case was unrelated to the first one recorded in October.
