Pa Taiwo Akinwunmi may not be a
popular face and name on most of Nigeria’s newspapers and television stations;
but at least no one can deny knowledge of the colour and design of the National
Flag. In case you didn’t know, Pa Akinwunmi was the designer of the Nigerian
Flag, and he was among those honoured by President Jonathan today at Abuja. He has
also been placed on the salary of a Special assistant for life according to a
tweet posted by the Special Assistant to the President on New Media, Reno
Omokri (@renoomokri).
