As we eagerly await the official confirmation of the death of
leader of Nigeria’s terrorist group, Abubakar Shekau, indications have emerged
that more terrorists have surrendered to the Nigerian troops.
A tweet posted yesterday by the
Defence Headquarters revealed that 10 more terrorists have surrendered.
“Another Set of 10 Terrorists
yesterday surrendered to Troops at Kawuri. In custody for necessary security
debriefing”
This brings the number of
terrorists who have surrendered to about 40 including the five who surrendered
in Konduga yesterday.
