Oyedepo At 60-I’m Simply Grateful To God

The presiding Bishop of the Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo is 60 today, and he has nothing but gratitude to “God for all His mercies and goodness till date.”

In an interview granted to Punch and other Newspapers, the man rated by Forbes as the richest pastor in Africa expressed his gratitude to God for the gift of life:

“I’m simply grateful to God. I’ve always seen life as a gift from God. Life is a privilege, not a right. No one brought himself or herself to life and no one can sustain his or her life on their own. I’m just grateful to God for all His goodness and mercy till date,”

President Jonathan Extols The Virtues Of Bishop Oyedepo As He Clocks 60

As the Presiding Bishop of the Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo clocks 60 on September 27th, Nigeria’s President Goodluck Jonathan has extolled his virtues.

According to a statement made public by the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, to the president, Dr Reuben Abati, Jonathan gave the eulogy in a congratulatory message to Oyedepo on his 60th birthday coming up on Sept. 27.

“I write on behalf of my family, the Government and people of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, to rejoice with you as you mark your milestone 60th birthday anniversary.

Not Again! Boko Haram Kills Pator, 18 Others In Borno

Some armed men suspected to be members of the Islamic sect, Boko Haram have reportedly attacked Shaffa and Shindiffu villages of Hawul Local Government Area of Borno state, burning churches and killing 19 people including a pastor of the Living Faith Church.

This recent development is coming on the heels of various victories achieved by the Nigerian Military over the sect in which their leader was killed.
