The United States of America has recorded its first case of
the deadly Ebola Virus Disease, which still doesn’t have a cure, and has a high
mortality rate close to about 90%.
According to the Centre for Disease Control, CDC, the first
case of the disease America was placed in "strict isolation" at Texas
Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas earlier today, reports Reuters.

In a statement issued Tuesday night, Texas Health
Presbyterian Hospital Dallas said the patient was admitted based on symptoms
and "recent travel history."
The hospital where the patient is being held said it was
complying with all recommendations from the CDC and the Texas Department of
Health to ensure the safety of other patients and medical staff.
The WHO had confirmed that the deadly disease has taken the
life of more than 3,000 people; with Liberia being the worst affected.
