Actors are really moving fast and
thick into the political scene these days with Nollywood actor, Saint Obi
reported to be working as Media Consultant for the President. He is just one of
several that have either worked for the government or still working.
According to the Daily Times, Obi
is currently concluding “ingenious” strategies for the re-election of President
Goodluck Jonathan in 2015 and was quoted to have said:
“Despite the security challenges
in the country, which will certainly end very soon, no Nigerian President had
performed better than President Goodluck Jonathan in terms of first 3 years as
President. This is a fact, not the falsehood circulated by 2015 power seeking
propagandists…”
We will probably get to see and
hear more on this in the coming days as the 2015 general election draws nearer.
